∴ मध्य बिंदु प्रमेय के अनुसार,
EF ∥ BC
∴ EF ∥ BC ----(1)
⇒ EF = BC/2 ----(2)
चूंकि D, BC का मध्य बिंदु है,
⇒ EF = BD ----(3)
समीकरण 1 और 3 से,
⇒ BDEF एक समांतर चतुर्भुज है।
BE और DF एक दुसरे को X पर काटते हैं।
