RRB Technician Syllabus 2025, Check Exam Pattern For CBT 1, CBT 2
The revised RRB Technician Syllabus and Exam Pattern has been released along with the Railway RRB Technician recruitment 2025 notification announcing 6238 vacancies for Technician Grade 1 Signal and Technician Grade 3 posts. The recruitment process includes Computer Based Tests (CBT 1 and CBT 2), followed by document verification. CBT 1 is the initial screening stage and covers subjects like Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science. It consists of 75 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is a negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
Candidates who qualify CBT 1 move on to CBT 2. This stage is divided into two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A has 100 questions from general subjects, and Part B includes 75 questions based on the relevant trade. The total duration of CBT 2 is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

RRB Technician Selection Process
The RRB Technician Selection Process for 2025 is slightly different from that of the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment. While both are technical posts, the Technician recruitment process follows a simpler format. Candidates applying for Technician Grade 1 Signal and Technician Grade 3 posts will have to go through three main stages to qualify for final selection. Notably, there is no Computer-Based Aptitude Test for Technician posts.
