The MHT CET result 2025 for BBA, BCA, BMS, BBM and 5-year LLB courses was issued on June 5, 2025. Candidates can now log in to the official website portal and download their scorecards. The State Common Entrance Cell (CET Cell) has also made public expected result dates for other entrance exams i.e B.Design CET on June 9, 2025; MHT CET PCB and PCM on June 16, 2025 and LLB 3-Year CET– June 17, 2025. The MHT CET 2025 provisional answer key for the PCB category was declared on May 19, 2025. 

The exams were held from April 9 to April 17, 2025, for PCB and from April 19 to April 27, 2025, for PCB, in online mode. The exams were part of the annual entrance schedule for various disciplines, including Engineering, Higher Education, B.Ed, Nursing. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) served as a gateway for admission into top degree programs across Maharashtra. The exam was conducted as a computer-based test.

What is MHT CET ?

The Maharashtra CET Exam is a Common Entrance Test held by the Government of Maharashtra. It is an annual exam essential for securing admissions in engineering, pharmacy, law and management courses. The Directorate of Technical Education is in charge of conducting this exam. Earlier, the scores obtained in the exam by examinees were also used for admission to medical courses. But after the Supreme Court made a judgement to cancel offering medical courses through the scores of the MHT CET exam, it removed all the medical colleges participating in the test earlier. 

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2025

To undertake the MHT CET Exam in 2025, candidates must fulfil a few pre-requisites mentioned by the exam conducting body in their official notification. All the details are shared below. 

MHT CET Educational Qualification

• Candidates must qualify for the 10+2/ HSC or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Technical, and Vocational subjects. Candidates belonging to the General category need to secure a minimum of 45% marks for applying to the exam. For other category students, the minimum qualifying marks is 40%.
• Even students appearing for the exam can apply. Candidates who have a diploma in Engineering and Technology are eligible to apply. For general candidates in this category must secure 45% marks in aggregate and for others, it is 40%. 
• Students who have a B.Sc degree from a recognized university with 45% marks for general and 40% for others can apply if they had Mathematics as a subject in their Class 12 examination. 
• Candidates, Children of NRI/OCI/PIO/Indian workers in Gulf Countries, Foreign National (FN) Candidates, must have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of these – Chemistry/Biology/ Technical/ Vocational subjects with at least 45% marks in all the above subjects taken together can also apply. 

MHT CET Nationality Criteria 

Candidates who are Indian can apply if they fulfill any of the above-mentioned criteria. For Children of NRI/OCI/PIO/Indian workers in Gulf Countries, and Foreign National (FN) Candidates, the qualification requirements are almost the same.

• Locate the application form link at MHT CET at cetcell.mahacet.org
• Fill out the application form by providing correct details on your full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, parents’ names, family income and academic details. 
• Documents like a recent passport-sized photograph and signature are needed to be uploaded. 
• Pay the application fee as per the application guidelines. However, the application fees may vary from state to state. 
• Attest the application form from your Principal or the concerning officer. 
• Submit the application form on the website after you have checked all the details.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra has released the answer key for MHT CET Exam 2025 on their official website. However, students can refer to these steps to download the answer key. 

Step 1: Go to the MHT CET official website at cetcell.mahacet.org

Step 2: In the Notification tab, look for the ‘MHT CET Exam 2025 Answer Key Release’ link.

Step 3: Enter your application number and DOB or date of birth and click the submit button.

Step 4: Download the answer key and take a printout if necessary.

MHT CET 2025 Counselling

Once the MHT CET exam is conducted, the counselling process will begin soon. But students willing to participate in the MHT CET Exam 2025 can refer to the steps of counselling mentioned below.
