Co - prime numbers : Those numbers that have only one common factor
namely 1 i.e. they do not have any other common factor between them
other than 1 .
Calculation:
On considering option(1), we have
Two numbers is given 156 and 234
Common factors = 2, 3 ......etc
So, these are not co- prime as they have common factor between then rather than 1
On considering option (2), we have
Numbers are 161 and 192
Common factor = 1
So, these two are co- prime numbers
On considering option (3), we have
Numbers are 196 and 343
Common factors = 7
So, they are not co- prime as they have common factor between them rather than 1
On considering option (4), we have
Numbers are 228 and 247
Common factor = 19
So, they are also not co-prime numbers
Hence, the numbers 161 and 12 are co-prime numbers .
