Average manufacturing = \(\frac{\text{Sum of computers in 5 years}}{5}\)

Calculations:

For Company A:

Total = 240 + 300 + 1250 + 470 + 320 = 2580

Average = \(\frac{2580}{5} = 516\)

For Company B:

Total = 120 + 530 + 650 + 320 + 1070 = 2690

Average = \(\frac{2690}{5} = 538\)

For Company C:

Total = 270 + 490 + 430 + 1180 + 550 = 2920

Average = \(\frac{2920}{5} = 584\)

For Company D:

Total = 280 + 650 + 710 + 890 + 480 = 3010

Average = \(\frac{3010}{5} = 602\)
