Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
Sita sold a whiteboard marker set at 10% profit. On selling it for Rs. 20 more, she would have earned a profit of 15%.
Concept used:
SP = CP + profit
Profit is calculated on cost price
Calculation:
Let the Cost price = 100
1st selling price is 110
2nd selling price is 115
As per the question,
Value of (115 -110) = 5 units
5 units = 20
1 unit = 4
The value of 100 units = 4 × 100 = 400
∴ The correct option is 4
