Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
A, B, C, and D share a property worth Rs. 93,100.
A ∶ B = 1 ∶ 2, B ∶ C = 3 ∶ 4 and C ∶ D = 5 ∶ 6.
Calculation:
A ∶ B = 1 ∶ 2 = 3 : 6
B ∶ C = 3 ∶ 4 = 6 : 8
C ∶ D = 5 ∶ 6 = 5 × 8/5 ∶ 6 × 8/5 = 8 : 9.6
So, A : B : C
⇒ 3 : 6 : 8 : 9.6
⇒ 30 : 60 : 80 : 96
Now, the share of C = \(93100 × \frac {80}{30 + 60 + 80 + 96}\) = Rs. 28000
∴ C's share is Rs. 28000.
