Given

Speed of Ravi = 2 km/h

Speed of Suhas = 4 km/h

Distance between A to B = 24 km

Concept:

Relative speed and time taken to meet

Calculation:

⇒ Time taken by Suhas to reach B = 24 km/4 km/h = 6 hours

In that time Ravi covers 2 × 6 = 12km

Now the Remaining distance to cover for Ravi is 24 - 12 = 12 km

Now the relative speed for 12km as Suhas turns back is 4 + 2 = 6 km/hr

The meeting time is 12/6 = 2 hr.

Now in 2 hr Ravi moves =  2 × 2 = 4 km

So the total distance between A and C is 12 + 4 = 16km

Therefore, the distance from A to C is 16 km.
