b : c = 3 : 10

Concept used:

To find a : c, b is made same in both the ratios.

Calculation:

a : b = \({4 \over 5}\) = \({ 4 \times 3 \over 5 \times 3} = {12 \over 15}\)

b : c = \(3 \over 10 \)= \({3 \times 5 \over 10 \times 5}= {15 \over 50}\)

Equating both these equations with each other, we get:

a : c = \({12 \over 50} = {6 \over 25}\)

Therefore, the value of a : c is 6 : 25.
