BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025 for B.E Candidates

Candidates who are interested in doing a B.E course must fulfil the required eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the BITSAT 2025 is given below.

• The students are supposed to clear their 10+2 or any equivalent examination from any authorised University/Board.
• Another criterion remains about the qualifying subjects opted in the 10+2 exam or other equivalent exams. The candidates must have passed the subjects of Physics, Maths, and Chemistry. Adequate proficiency in English is also demanded.
• When it comes to the marks scored, BITS keeps a specification of an aggregate score of 75% marks in the PCM stream, i.e. specifically in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) if you have taken biology in the 12th examination.
• Also, for the individual subjects, the candidates are expected to score at least 60% in these subjects. 
• The candidates appearing in the 12th standard are also eligible to apply for this post.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025 for B.Pharma 

To get admission in the B.Pharm Course via BITSAT 2025, the following criteria are considered. The eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2025 for B. Pharma are mentioned below.

• Like in the B.E course; the candidate is supposed to have passed their 10+2 level exam from an authorised Board/ University. 
• It is also considered if the student is still pursuing his/her 12th standard exam
• The qualifying subjects include Physics, Chemistry with Biology or Mathematics. Other than that, proficiency in English is also required.
• When it comes to marks, candidates are required to score an aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Maths. In these subjects, too, they are required to secure 60%.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: International Applicants

Applicants with a passport and valid SAT scores are eligible to apply for BITSAT 2025. Eligibility Criteria for international applicants have been mentioned below.

• International applicants must appear for the Grade 12 (qualifying) examination, Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), and SAT subject tests (in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Level 2)
• International applicants must request College Board to send SAT scores to BITS-Pilani (DI code: 7759–BITS Pilani).

BITSAT 2025: Number of Attempts

As per the BITSAT 2025 eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority, candidates are allowed to appear for the BITSAT exam twice in a year, provided that it happens in the alternate years and not on alternate days in the same year.

BITSAT Exam Pattern 2025

Now that we are well aware of the BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025, the next important point to know is the BITSAT Exam Pattern. The BITSAT Exam Pattern 2025 is same. Let’s move on to the different points to understand more: BITSAT 2025 Entrance Test is a Computer Based Exam; hence it is conducted online. There is no option to attempt this exam in offline mode.

• Unlike, the other Engineering Entrance Exams, this exam has 4 major subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, English, and Logical Reasoning.
• A total of 130 questions constitute the question paper.
• Given the English language, criteria are essential for BITS, and the medium of the question paper is kept as English. 
• The exam duration is set as 180 minutes
• As far as the marking scheme is concerned, for every correct answer, 3 marks are awarded, and for every negative answer, 1 mark is deducted.
