Calculation:
Profit% increase in D = \(\dfrac{120}{240} × 100\) = 50%
Total sales in 2020 = 180 × 5 = 900 lakhs
Total SAles in 2021 = 240 × 6 = 1440 lakhs
Sales% increase in D = \(\dfrac{540}{900} × 100\) = 60%
⇒ Required Ratio = 60 : 50 = 6 : 5
∴ The ratio of the percentage increase in sales to the percentage increase in profit for the HP-Showroom D in all the outlets in 2021 over 2020, was 6 : 5.
