Ayurveda professor

Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda and A Post Graduate degree in Panchakarma awarded by a university established by law in India.

Assistant professor

Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Homeopathy and a Postgraduate degree in Homeopathy practice of medicine awarded by a university established by law in India.

Medical Officer 

Must have a BAMS degree from a university established by law in India.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police

Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Assistant Commissioner 

Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Assistant Labour Commissioner 

Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Insurance Medical Officer

Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Nationality

The candidates applying for the KPSC Group A posts should be of Indian origin only. Candidates applying for the posts should be able to show proof of their nationality at the exam center. 

Number of Attempts

The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) announced various KPSC Group A vacancies in 2020, including 4 for District Manager Grade-A and 129 for Ayurveda Professor, Assistant Professor, and Medical Officer posts. The registration for the District Manager Grade-A post concluded on 10th August 2020, while applications for Ayush Department posts were accepted from 12th August to 14th September 2020. The commission is expected to announce exam dates and further notifications for positions such as Insurance Medical Officer, Senior Assistant Director of Horticulture, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner, and Assistant Labour Commissioner.
