What is KEAM Exam?

The KEAM exam is a state-level entrance examination for admitting deserving candidates to various Engineering, Architecture, Forestry and Medical courses. The frequency of this exam is once a year. Qualified candidates will get admission in various colleges in Kerala. The examination centres are scattered all over Kerala, New Delhi, Mumbai and Dubai. The Centralized Admission Process is adopted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations to select the candidates and finally admit them into various colleges.

KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2025

There are some prerequisites that candidates need to fulfil before appearing for the KEAM Exam 2025. Before you apply for the exam, check out the eligibility criteria given below. 

Educational Qualification

As per the official notification, candidates need to qualify the 10+2 examination from a recognized board in Kerala or equivalent from any recognized board in India. 

Candidates who are foreign citizens (OCI/PIO) should have a pass certificate in the class 12 examination.

Required Marks 

Candidates must have 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. As an alternative for Chemistry, if candidates had Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology as a subject, the scores will be considered. 

Age

The minimum required age is 17 years that should be calculated as of December 2025. There is no maximum age limit.

KEAM 2025 Selection Process

The KEAM Exam 2025 is completed in three rounds along with the final or mop-up round. Once the results are announced, the CEE starts the selection process of the KEAM Exam 2025. Below, we have listed the step-by-step selection process for the KEAM Exam 2025.

KEAM 2025 Counselling
