What is Pinaka Missile?

The Pinaka missile is a multi-barrel rocket launcher system. It is used by the Indian Army. It is developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). History and Evolution of the Pinaka System

The Pinaka missile system was developed to reduce reliance on foreign rocket systems and enhance India's indigenous defense capabilities, beginning in the 1980s and evolving through multiple successful upgrades.
