Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2025 has been announced. The HPAS Prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on 29th June 2025 (tentatively). Previously, HPPSC announced the increased vacancies! The Tribune & Punjab Kesari newspapers notified on 13-04-2025 that 02 more posts were added to the existing vacancies. HPPSC Notification 2025 was released on 13th April, 2025 for 30 vacancies. However, 2 new vacancies were added. Candidates can submit their applications online till 10th May 2025 on the official website of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. The result is based on the performance of the candidates in Prelims, Mains followed by an interview conducted by the Commission. Key highlights of the HPPSC HPAS Exam are:

• Candidates must have acquired a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University to be eligible to appear for this exam.
• A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and not exceed 35 years on or before 01-01-2025.
• 13 Exam cities have been announced for the HPPSC HPAS 2025 exam.

All the applications for the Himachal Pradesh Civil Services Exam must be submitted online before 10th May 2025. Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the 2025 cycle so that you can submit your applications within the time frame.

HPPSC HPAS Eligibility 2025

Before applying for the exam, candidates must carefully check if they meet the basic HPAS eligibility requirements. To be able to apply for this post, candidates should have completed their graduation from a recognized university in any discipline. This means they must hold a valid bachelor's degree before the application deadline. Along with the educational qualification, age limit is also another factor that needs to be considered. The minimum age to apply is 21 years, and the maximum age allowed is 35 years. The HPPSC Civil Services Exam is conducted in three stages – Preliminary, Mains, and Interview.

• Preliminary Exam: This stage has two papers – General Studies and Aptitude Test. Both are objective-type (multiple choice) and carry a total of 400 marks. It acts only as a screening test. The marks scored in this stage will not be counted in the final merit list.
• Mains Exam: This stage includes compulsory subjects (like English and Hindi) and one optional subject chosen by the candidate. Each paper is 3 hours long. The marks in English and Hindi papers are not counted for ranking, but candidates must score at least 40% in each to qualify.

HPPSC 2025 Admit Card for HPAS

Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services Admit cards will be released on the official website 10-15 days before the exam date. Candidates must download and take a coloured printout of their respective Hall Tickets by downloading their admit cards. Details mentioned on HPPSC HPAS Hall Tickets are name, roll number, exam date, time, exam centres, and instructions. Hall tickets act as entrance permission and photo ID proof. Candidates must carry the admit card along with an ID proof to the exam centre, without which they will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Any discrepancy in particulars should be reported to HPPSC.

HPPSC HPAS 2025 Result

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission will be releasing the HPPSC Civil services Result on the official website. The Results will be published separately for Prelims, Mains and final selection on https://hpps.hp.gov.in after the completion of each stage.
