Given,

Total number of students of five different class = 1250

Let the number of students of class I be M.

Number of students of class II = M + 50

Number of students of class IV = M + 50 + 50 = M + 100

Total number of students of class III and class V = 250 × 2 = 500

Then,

⇒ 1250 = M + M + 50 + M + 100 + 500

⇒ M = 200

∴ The number of students in class I is 200.
