Calculation:

It is given that the amount of alcohol in the mixture should be 25%.

The given quantity of alcohol is 75 ml.

So, if the quantity of alcohol is 25% then the quantity of water must be 75%.

Let the total solution be x.

Therefore, 25 % of x = 75

x = 300 ml

So, the quantity of water added = 300 - 75

⇒ 225
