Vellore Institute of Technology Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE) is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) for admission into various postgraduate courses offered by the Institute. How to Fill VITMEE Application Form 2023?

The application form for the VITMEE 2023 entrance exam can be filled online. The following are the procedures that need to be followed by the candidate to apply for the VITMEE exam.

Step 1: VITMEE Registration

• Fresh candidates applying for the exam are required to register with a fresh email id and contact number at the website.
• Go to the official link of the university.
• Click on the “New Applicant” tab to get a registration form.
• Enter the required details and press submit.
• The system will auto-generate you a registration number and mail the same at your registered email id and contact number for documentation and verification.

Step 2: VITMEE 2023 Application Form Filling

This is the next step, where you actually provide all the details that create your profile for the test. It helps the authorities judge your eligibility, your medical standards, your previous educational qualifications and other important details.

• Log in using your registration number and other details.
• Enter all the relevant information in the VITMEE application form.
• Check all the details filled and then submit the form.
• Once the application process gets completed, candidates must check their Email ID to get the password.
• Candidate needs to log in again as a registered user by entering the registered id and password.
• Fill all the required information in the application form carefully.
• Candidates must note down the application number.

Step 3: Uploading Images

This is the final step in creating your profile for the exam. With your photograph and signature scanned, you can be easily identified and thus it makes the process smooth.

• Upload the scanned images.
• Candidates need to select the mode of payment to pay the application fee.
• After completing the application form, candidates must take a printout of the application form & keep it safe for further process.
• Candidates must retain the registered email id and mobile number till the admission process gets completed.

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

Candidates can pay the exam fee of INR 1200 via online mode for M.Tech and MCA programs.

VITMEE Eligibility Criteria

Students who are appearing for the VITMEE exam must satisfy all the eligibility criteria declared by the VITMEE, or else they cannot appear in the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria have been mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech 

The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech programs offered by Vellore Institute of Technology such as educational qualification, nationality and age limit are mentioned as follows:

• Candidates should have graduated with a full-time degree from any recognized University/Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% or 1st class for M.Tech. degree programmes. 
• Consistent Record in X and XII Std is required.
• Candidates appearing for their final degree exam/final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates should have completed their final Semester/year exams before the selection at VIT.
• The candidates should produce a statement of final year marks and Provisional degree certificate before August 15th, 2023, failing which admission will be cancelled with the forfeit of admission fee.
• The applicant for admission should be a Resident Indian National and should have graduated from Institutions located in India. Foreign and NRI/ PIO applications are to be made separately.

• Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 Yrs duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 60% or Ist Class at the qualifying Examination.
• Candidates appearing for their final degree exam/final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates should have completed their final semester/year exams before the selection at VIT.
• The candidates should produce a statement of final year marks and Provisional degree certificate before August 15th, 2023, failing which admission will be cancelled with the forfeit of admission fee.
