How to fill the TNPSC VAO Application Form?
Candidates should fill the TNPSC VAO Application Form carefully. Check the steps to fill the TNPSC VAO Application Form given below.
Step 1 : Go to the TNPSC website, www.tnpsc.gov.in
Step 2 : Go through the OTR process and obtain your User ID and password
Step 3 : Candidates can then select the post for which they want to apply, in this case, Village Administrative Officer which comes under Group-IV Services.

TNPSC VAO Recruitment Selection Process
The TNPSC VAO Exam consists of a single OMR based paper that has 3 sections,
- General Studies
- Aptitude and Mental Ability Test
- General Tamil/ General English
The paper is of 300 marks and has to be completed in 3 hours. After qualifying in the written exam, candidates would be called for counseling.

- No Objection certificate from the employer if the candidate is employed

- Hearing Assessment and hearing disability certificate
- Medical Certificate for Orthopedically Handicapped Candidates
- Physical fitness certificate
- Persons Studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM) certificate from recognized institutions for availing 20% reservation in vacancies.

To be eligible for applying in the TNPSC VAO Exam, the candidates must satisfy certain conditions. These conditions pertain to the age and educational qualifications of the candidates.

Educational Qualification:
The TNPSC VAO Exam requires candidates to possess a minimum general education qualification. The candidates must have passed the SSLC public exam or any equivalent exam with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary courses.
TNPSC VAO Recruitment Exam Pattern
The TNPSC VAO Exam consists of a written test which is of 300 marks. The exam has 200 questions from 3 subjects, which are General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test, and General English/ General Tamil. The paper duration is 3 hours, and the exam can be given in either English or Tamil language. Candidates qualifying in the written exam are called in for online document verification and further counseling.
