KVS PGT Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection of the candidates for the post of post graduate teacher shall be done on the basis of their performance in written examination followed by an interview.
KVS PGT Exam Pattern
The written test for the KVS PGT will be divided into two parts, in which the candidates will be tested. The first section will have general Hindi and English questions. Part II will include questions from General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, Computer Aptitude, Pedagogy, and the relevant subject knowledge. The KVS PGT test pattern is detailed in the table below.

- A total of 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks shall be asked in the online written exam.
- Each question will carry 1 mark and there shall be no negative marking for any wrong answer attempted.(Expected)
- The exam will be conducted in online mode only.(CBT).

KVS PGT Interview
The interview round is the second step of the selection process. Candidates who pass the exam will be invited to an interview round. Shortlisted candidates must report to the interview location on the designated day. The final merit list will be generated based on the results of the entrance exam and the interview test. The shortlisted applicants would be assigned to various KVs across all states and UTs based on the existing vacancies.
