JPSC APO Annual Package

Candidates who have the basic JPSC APO eligibility and get inducted into the commission as Assistant Public Prosecutor shall be eligible to get a salary as per the 7th CPC. Since the candidates shall be paid a salary as per Level 8, therefore the annual package of the candidate sums upto INR 9.7 LPA. 

JPSC APO Salary Structure

The JPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor shall be paid salary as per the Level 8 of the 7th pay commission. Level 8 is equivalent to the grade pay of INR 4800 and basic pay is equal to INR 9300-34,800. JPSC APO Job Profile

Candidates who clear all the rounds of the JPSC APO exam pattern shall be eligible to get appointed in any of the offices of the Home department of the state. Post their induction as an Assistant Public Prosecutor, the candidate shall be required to do the following duties. 

• JPSC APO has to collect evidence on behalf of the seniors and work on the important papers of the case
• The candidate has to make sure that all the paperwork related to any case is done correctly and not a single detail is missed out
• Study the case, make short notes on important observations and assist the Public Prosecutor during the Court hearing. 

JPSC APO Probation Period

A JPSC APO is liable to be kept under a probation period of 2 years. During this time, they are taught about the everyday roles and responsibilities that have to be performed on a regular basis after scoring marks more than JPSC APO cut-off marks.
