GAT Result 2023 Date and Time

The GAT exam selects candidates for various UG and PG courses under the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) University. There is a total of 52 UG courses and 45 PG courses under the disciplines of Architecture, Engineering, Humanities, Public Policy, Law, Management, Paramedical, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Science. The exam date and the date for the release of results are the same for all the courses. Three phases of the exam are completed as of now. How to Check GAT 2023 Result?

The GITAM GAT Results are released through the official website. The candidates are required to check the results, as it is the only way to know the candidates’ future in this admission process. The candidates will be selected for the courses according to the rank list. The rank list is formulated according to the GAT Results. There is no negative marking for the GAT exam. Whether the candidates are eligible to be present in the rank list will be decided by the cut-off for the exam. The cut-off for each exam will be decided considering the level of difficulty of the exam, the number of students who attended the exam, the previous year's cut-off trends, etc. 

GAT Seat Matrix

The GITAM University consists of 4 Campuses. The four campuses of the GITAM University are Vishakhapatnam Campus, Hyderabad Campus, Bangalore Campus, and GIMSR Campus. The seat matrix for each of the available courses is not yet released. The candidates can select their preferred campus during the admission application process. This will help them in getting a seat in their dream college.

GAT Result 2023 - Percentile Calculation.

The candidates can view their score card or the GAT Result Card in their profile on the official website. The candidates can calculate the percentage of their marks with the below-mentioned method. 

• The exam pattern for each discipline is provided on the official website.
• The candidates need to add marks as per the exam pattern for all the right answers. 
• No mark should be awarded for unanswered or wrong answer questions. This will provide the candidate with the sum of their marks. 
• Divide this sum by the total marks and multiply the result by 100. In this way, the candidate can get their percentage. 
• The candidate should verify whether their marks are above the minimum percentage score, that is, the cut-off.

Tie Breaking Rule for GAT 2023 Result

Certain tie-breaking rules are used to consider who gets the top position in the rank list when both or more candidates have achieved the same score. The marks of the sections with the high weightage in the GAT exam will be considered to make the tie-breaking rule.
