The number of workers doing U-type of work in 2006 = 22%

⇒ 22% of 54000 = 11880

The total number of workers doing W-type of work in 2005 = 10% of 47520

= 4752

The total number of workers doing X-type of work in 2005 = 15% of 47520

= 7128

Total workers in W and X type of work in 2005 = 4752 + 7128 = 11880

22% of 54000 = 10% of 47520(W) + 15% of 47520(X)
