Question
Download Solution PDFThe maximum load allowed in
\(\rm \frac{power\ sub\ circuit}{light\ fan\ sub\ circuit}=?\)
Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFThe correct answer is option 1):\(\frac{30}{8}\)
Concept:
Power subcircuit:
- The maximum load for the power sub-circuit should not exceed 3000 W
- The number of outlets is restricted to two in each power subcircuit. If the power load exceeds 3000 W, a separate power circuit is taken
Light and Fan sub-circuits:
- There is a maximum of 10 points in the light and fan sub-circuit as per IE (Indian Electricity) rules.
- The maximum load for a single light and fan sub-circuit should not exceed 800 W.
\(\rm \frac{power\ sub\ circuit}{light\ fan\ sub\ circuit}=\) \(3000 \over 800\) = \(30 \over 8\)
