Speed of the train = 90 km/hr = (90 × 1000) / 3600 = 25 m/s

Time taken to pass the man = 10 seconds

Time taken to pass the bridge = 18 seconds

Formula Used:

Total Length of Train + Length of Bridge = Speed × Time to pass the bridge

Length of Train = Speed × Time to pass the man

Calculation:

Length of Train = Speed × Time to pass the man

⇒ Length of Train = 25 × 10

⇒ Length of Train = 250 m

Total Length of Train + Length of Bridge = Speed × Time to pass the bridge

⇒ 250 + Length of Bridge = 25 × 18
