Given:

Cost Price per bulb = ₹10

Total bulbs bought = 200

Fused bulbs = 5 ⇒ Usable bulbs = 200 − 5 = 195

Selling Price per bulb = ₹12

Formula used:

Profit or Loss % = \(\frac{\text{Profit or Loss}}{\text{Cost Price}} × 100 \)

Calculation:

Total Cost Price = 200 × 10 = ₹2000

Total Selling Price = 195 × 12 = ₹2340

Profit = 2340 − 2000 = ₹340

Profit % = \(\frac{340}{2000} × 100 = 17\% \)

∴ The correct answer is 17% profit
