A bag contains 8 red and 5 blue balls.

Formula:

Probability = (Favourable case)/(Total)

Calculation:

Total balls = 8 + 5 = 13

Two balls drawn 13C2 = 78

One ball is red and other is blue = 8C1 × (5C1) = 8 × 5 = 40

Required probability = 40/78 = 20/39
