Odisha Judicial Services Prelims Exam Date has been announced. The OJS-2023 Preliminary Examination under Advertisement No. 30 of 2023-24 will be held on 22.06.2024 (Sunday). The Commission had announced for 34 vacancies for recruitment to the post of Civil Judges in Odisha Judicial Service.

The Odisha Judicial Services Exam has 2 compulsory papers, along with three optional papers to be selected from the given 5 subjects. The exam patterns for both the papers are given below:

The candidates are not required to follow any pattern for the interview round. The interview round will be conducted for 100 marks, wherein the candidates will be asked questions related to the topics of the mains exam. Other than that, they will be tested for their general knowledge.

There is no particular syllabus prescribed for the interview round. The candidates who get through the mains exam successfully will be called for the interview round. They will be asked questions related to topics given in the mains exam. Apart from that, his general knowledge will be tested. The candidate must score at least 40% marks to get selected for the post.
The Odisha Judicial Services selection process is mainly divided into three parts, namely the Prelims exams, Mains exams, and the Interview Round.
Prelims Exam: The first stage for the Odisha Judicial Services selection is a written examination, which is the preliminary exam. This exam is conducted for 10 subjects. The paper carries 100 marks, it follows a negative marking scheme of ¼ marks deduction for every wrong answer.
Mains Exam: Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the mains exam. The exam is divided into two sections, where the first section contains 2 compulsory papers, and the second contains the 3 optional Papers.
Interview Exam: After clearing both the Prelims and the Mains exams candidates qualify for the last round of the selection process, that is the Interview round. It will be conducted for 100 marks and the candidates must score 40% to be eligible for selection.
