Given: Nine persons Rupam, Ravi, Rupa, Ripa, Riya, Raju, Ray, Ranjan and Rima are sitting in a linear row arrangement facing different directions. Not more than two persons sitting adjacent face the same direction. More people face north direction as compared to south. They belong to eight different states viz.
