The JMI counselling process will shortly begin for approved applicants, according to Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). The chosen candidates must finish the admissions process by the deadline noted in the JMI counselling schedule for 2025. Candidates who are chosen must bring their JMI Entrance Exam Admit Card and attested copies of the necessary documentation. JMI 2025 counselling will take place at the Jamia Millia Islamia campus, with individual sessions for each course.

• JMI exam will be held on April 26, 2025 for applicants seeking admission to the university's undergraduate and graduate programmes. 
• Candidates who pass the test and make the shortlist will be accepted into a variety of engineering, arts, commerce, science, management, and information technology courses.

JMI Registration Process

The candidates must finish the registration process in order to participate in JMI B.Tech/B.Arch/BDS 2025 counselling. The necessary information must be submitted because admissions will be based on JEE Main/NATA/NEET score. The actions below must be taken in order to be considered for JMI B.Tech admission in 2025:

Step 1: The first stage is registration on the official website, where candidates must do so. In order to complete the registration procedure, you must submit your name, email address, birth date, mobile number, and other information.

Step 2: Filling out the application form is the second step. Candidates must choose their preferred course. Additionally, complete personal, academic, and contact information must be given.

Step: 3 The candidates must then upload their scanned documents in accordance with the guidelines provided by the authorities in Step 3.

Step 4: Filling Out Detailed Academic Information Candidates must provide information about their schools, including the name of the board they attended, their grades, and more. The specifics must all be true to life.

Step 5: Paying the Counseling Fee Candidates must pay the Counseling Fee of Rs. 550 using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card.

Step 6: Submit the Form. Take a printout of the completed application for your records.

What options will be available after JMI Seat Allotment?

Once the cut off marks have been released for every course, candidates must check whether they have been shortlisted by referring to the JMI Entrance Exam Cut Off list. The cut off list contains all the registration numbers which have been selected for the counselling process. The counselling process is an on campus process where candidates must be present at the campus on the day of the counselling. Candidates are allotted seats based on the preferences they have chosen. Candidates can also upgrade their courses provided there are seats available. Once the candidates have been allotted the seats, they can proceed for admission at the designated date and venue. Candidates can confirm their admission by submitting the necessary documents and paying the fees.

There are no participating colleges in JMI, the cut off marks and the offer letter for counselling is determined by the merit list, the course that the candidate has chosen and the wait list. The Counselling process is the same for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs.

 In all of the courses that the JMI University offers;

• A total of 30% of the seats are set aside for candidates who identify as Muslims.
• Furthermore, Muslim women candidates are entitled to 10% of the seats reservation.
•  Finally, candidates who are PWDs are entitled to a 5% seat reservation. 

Documents Required for Verification after JMI Seat Allotment 2025

Candidates who have been chosen are urged to finish the admissions process prior to the date specified in the timetable. On the day of admission, the candidate's results must be complete in every way. At the time of admission, students must also provide their admit card from the entrance exam, as well as originals and attested copies of the following documents. At the time of admission, applicants must bring both their original certificates and self-attested copies of the following documents.

• Two recent passport size photographs
• Proof of passing the qualifying examination along with the marksheets

Participating Institutes of JMI Counselling 2025

There are no participating colleges present through the JMI Exam. The JMI exam makes candidates eligible for counselling only in JMI affiliated colleges and JMI itself. The cut off scores are designed for admission into each department, not into a participating institution. There are several Departments under JMI, some of which have not yet released their cut off marks for the year 2022.
