The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) will soon release the HPCET Cut Off on its official website, himtu.ac.in. The commission will be releasing the HPCET Cut Off once the examination process is complete. Candidates who have appeared for the exam are required to score more than or equal to the HPCET Cut Off to be considered for selection. Candidates must check and download the Cut Off list PDF from the HPTU official portal only to avoid discrepancies.
The HPCET Cut Off will be determined by the exam conducting body of the commission keeping in mind several factors like the number of applicants, the number of vacancies, the previous year's Cut Off, and more. The Cut Off marks will be released for the different categories, candidates should check the Cut Off according to the category they belong to. Candidates who score less than the Cut Off marks will not be considered for admission.

The Cut Off marks are not predetermined. Setting the Cut Off marks is a tedious task. The commission will be releasing the HPCET Cut Off on its official website. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to view and download the Cut Off.
Step 1: Visit the official website of HPTU at https://www.himtu.ac.in/
Step 2: On the homepage, go to the "Examinations" tab, click on the results tab, search for the HPCET Cut Off link and click on it.
Step 3: Once you click on the link, you will be redirected to the PDF page of the HPCET Cut Off.
Step 4: View and download the Cut Off marks.
Step 5: Take at least 2-3 printouts of the HPCET Cut Off for future reference.

There has been a significant increase in the number of students registering for the HPCET 2025 exam.
