The National Testing Agency administers the UGC NET examination on behalf of the University Grants Commission. This examination is held biannually for 82 subjects, including BODO. UGC NET BODO Paper III was removed from the syllabus in June 2019. There are only two papers now- Paper I and Paper II. We will discuss the UGC NET BODO Syllabus and exam pattern for Paper II here. Candidates must know the detailed syllabus to achieve the cutoff easily. The UGC NET syllabus for BODO will help them to organise a study plan for their preparation.
- In the UGC NET BODO Paper II, 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked.
- The UGC NET BODO cutoff in June 2019 for Junior Research Fellow and Assistant Professor was 60.00%, and for Assistant Professor only, it was 54.67%.
- The cutoff in December 2018 for Junior Research Fellow and Assistant Professor was 61.33%, and for Assistant Professor only, it was 54.67%.
- The cutoff for JRF and Assistant Professor in June 2019 was slightly lower than in December 2018, whereas, for Assistant Professor only the cutoff percentage was the same in both sessions.
- The UGC NET Cutoff depends on the number of candidates who appeared and the difficulty level of the paper.

UGC NET BODO Paper II Exam Pattern
After a thorough understanding of the UGC NET BODO syllabus for Paper II, let us now discuss the exam pattern for paper II. Knowledge of exam pattern enables the candidates to understand the types of questions that they should prepare for the examination. The UGC NET BODO examination has two papers-
- Paper I- General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude
- Paper II- BODO
Both the papers will be conducted via the Computer Based Test mode. Questions in Paper II will be in the BODO language. Moreover, only multiple-choice questions will be asked. There are no subjective questions in Paper II.

UGC NET BODO Paper II Marking Scheme
Knowing the UGC NET BODO paper II marking scheme is vital to understand the weightage of each question. All the questions in Paper II have four alternatives, out of which only one is right. Therefore candidates can choose only one option as their answer.
- For every correct answer, the candidate gets 2 marks.
- For wrong answers, no marks are deducted.
- For unattempted questions, no marks are given.

UGC NET BODO Paper II Minimum Qualifying Marks
A candidate who aspires to be a Junior Research Fellow or Assistant Professor in the field of BODO must score more than the minimum qualifying marks. Only after achieving the qualifying marks does a candidate become eligible to apply for the above roles. To achieve this score easily, candidates need to prepare at par with the UGC NET BODO syllabus.
