Yes, the UGC NET 2025 Notification for the June cycle has been released on 16th April 2025 and the online application process has begun.
The UCG NET Application Process is online only. Candidates need to submit their application forms through the website, within the specified deadline only which is till 7th May 2025. The steps to be followed to apply online for the UGC NET Exam are given below.

The UGC National Eligibility Test is a qualifying exam for candidates willing to apply for Assistant Professor and JRF posts in Government Universities and Institutes. The selection process for the appointment of the NET-qualified candidates to these posts will be decided by the respective institution. However, to qualify for the NET exam candidates must keep in mind the following:

The NTA releases the UGC NET Exam Date and City Intimation Slip on its websites, a few days before the exam. The slip is released even before the admit card. The city intimation slip is important as it contains details about the UGC NET Exam Date and the City where the exam centre will be located. Based on this, candidates can make the required travel arrangements accordingly.

The UGC NET Call Letter is released 3-5 days before the scheduled exam. Candidates can download their call letters only through the NTA UGC NET website. No hard copies are sent to any candidate. The admit card is an important document without which candidates can not enter the exam hall. It contains the exam date, shift, exam centre, and exam day instructions.
The UGC NET Response Sheet is released in a few weeks after the exam. It contains the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. The authorities release a provisional and a final answer key. Candidates can refer to the answer key to compare their responses and estimate their scores in the exam. Candidates can also raise objections to any incorrect responses in the provisional answer key.
The UGC NET 2025 Scorecard is released online, a few weeks after the exam. The scorecard contains details about the marks scored by the candidates in paper 1 & 2, and overall exam, along with the qualifying status. The UGC NET Certificate is issued to the qualified candidates in a few weeks after the scorecard is released. The certificate is issued online only. Candidates can download the same and apply for JRF/Assistant Professor posts, and for PhD admissions as per their eligibility and preference.
The UGC NET Cut Off Marks are announced on the NTA UGC NET website, in a few weeks after the exam. The cut-off is released subject-wise. Candidates need to score more than the respective category-wise cut-off for the subject they appeared for. Those who score less than the cut-off will be disqualified.
