- Female literacy rate = 64.63%.
- The top five states and UTs where the literacy rate is the highest, are Kerala (94%), Lakshadweep (91.8%), Mizoram (91.3%), and Goa (88.7%) and Tripura (87.2%).
- While of Daman and Diu = 87.1%, Chandigarh = 86.4%, Andaman and Nicobar Islands = 86.6%.
