    • The Chairman of Minorities Sub Committee was H.C Mookherjee during 1946.
    • He was the VicePresident of the Constituent Assembly of India for drafting the Constitution of India before the partition of India.
  • AV Thakkar Committee:
    • He was appointed the chairman of "Excluded and Partially Excluded Areas (Other than Assam), a sub committee of the constituent assembly.
    • Mahatma Gandhi would call him 'bapa'.
