Ratios: Accounts M:F = 11:7, Marketing = 12:11, IT = 14:13, Administration = 3:2
Formula used:
Dept emp = total × % /100
Male = (M/(M + F)) × dept employees
Female = (F/(M + F)) × dept employees
Required ratio = male(Accounts + IT) : female(Marketing + Admin)
Calculations:
⇒ Accounts employees = (3000 × 18)/100 = 540
⇒ Accounts male = (11/(11 + 7)) × 540 = (11/18) × 540 = 11 × 30 = 330
⇒ IT employees = (3000 × 27)/100 = 810
⇒ IT male = (14/(14 + 13)) × 810 = (14/27) × 810 = 14 × 30 = 420
⇒ Marketing employees = (3000 × 23)/100 = 690
⇒ Marketing female = (11/(12 + 11)) × 690 = (11/23) × 690 = 11 × 30 = 330
