Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
Vikram : Raja investment = 6 : 7
Pooja joined after 6 months with amount = Raja's amount
Formula used:
Profit is distributed in the ratio of (investment × time)
Calculations:
Vikram's share = 6 × 12 = 72
Raja's share = 7 × 12 = 84
Pooja's share = 7 × 6 = 42
Ratio = 72 : 84 : 42
Divide by 6 ⇒ 12 : 14 : 7
∴ Profit should be distributed in the ratio 12 : 14 : 7
