The correct answer is option 1) i.e. 1 rad/s2.

CONCEPT:

  • Angular acceleration: It is the rate of change angular velocity of an object with respect to time i.e.

where,α = angular acceleration, ω= final angular velocity, ωi = initial angular velocity, and t = time

CALCULATION:

Given,

initial angular velocity, ωi = 10 rad/s

final angular velocity, ωf = 20 rad/s

time, t = 10 second

Hence,

angular acceleration, α = (20-10)/10 rad/s2

⇒ α = 1 rad/s2.
