- 1503 ല്‍ സിക്കന്ദര്‍ ലോദിയാണ് ഇന്ന് കാണുന്ന ആഗ്ര നഗരത്തിലെ കെട്ടിടങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചത്.
- ഡല്‍ഹി സുല്‍ത്താനേറ്റിലെ ഒരു അഫ്ഗാന്‍ സുല്‍ത്താന്‍ ആയിരുന്നു സിക്കന്ദര്‍ ലോദി.
- 1489 മുതല്‍ 1517 വരെയുള്ള കാലയളവില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം ഭരിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പിതാവ് ബഹലുല്‍ ലോദിയുടെ പിന്‍ഗാമി ആയിരുന്നു.
- പേര്‍ഷ്യന്‍ ഭാഷയിലെ ഒരു കവി കൂടിയായിരുന്നു ലോദി.
- അദ്ദേഹം, 9000 ശീലുകള്‍ അടങ്ങിയ ഒരു ദിവാന്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കി.
- 1451 മുതല്‍ 1526 വരെയുള്ള കാലയളവില്‍ ഡല്‍ഹി സുല്‍ത്താനേറ്റ് ലോദി വംശം ഭരിച്ചു.
- ഡല്‍ഹി സുല്‍ത്താനേറ്റിലെ 5-ആമത്തെയും അവസാനത്തെയും രാജവംശമായിരുന്നു ലോദി വംശം.
- ബഹലുല്‍ ഖാന്‍ ലോദിയാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്.
- സിക്കന്ദര്‍ ലോദി 1517ല്‍ അന്തരിക്കുകയും, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുത്രനായ ഇബ്രാഹിം ലോദിയിലൂടെ പിന്തുടര്‍ച്ച ഉണ്ടാവുകയും ചെയ്തു.
