Intelligence may be defined as a combination of the abilities to: 

• learn. This includes all kinds of informal and formal learning through any combination of experience, education, and training.
• pose problems. This includes recognizing problem situations and transforming them into more clearly defined problems.
• solve problems. This includes solving problems, accomplishing tasks, fashioning products, and doing complex projects.

Intelligence involves the ability to think critically and analytically. It is reflected in IQ scores and college grades.

Types of thinking:

1. Divergent thinking: It includes thinking and behaving in divergent ways. It helps come up with multiple ideas that aid creativity. Further, the child can be given opportunities for original expression in many ideas, such as through written language, rhythms, music, art, etc. Thus, fluency, originality, and flexibility in producing ideas need to be encouraged in the children. It fuels creativity.
2. Convergent Thinking: Problems that have only one correct solution are known as convergent thinking. 
3. Reflective Thinking: It is insight-based thinking which uses previous experiences to solve a problem.
4. Critical Thinking: This type of thinking involves making reasoned judgment and examining assumptions. It is a group of cognitive skills that let us think rationally and use those skills appropriately when needed. 

From the above, we can conclude that Intelligence is Creative thinking.
