Key Points

The Indus Valley Civilization was established around 3300 BC.
It flourished between 2600 BC and 1900 BC (Mature Indus Valley Civilization).
It started declining around 1900 BC and disappeared around 1400 BC.
This is also called Harappan Civilization after the first city to be excavated, Harappa (Punjab, Pakistan).
The cities of Indus Valley Civilization were found in the Punjab and Sind in Pakistan, and in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana and the Punjab in India.
Archaeologists have found a set of unique objects in almost all these cities: red pottery painted with designs in black, stone weights, seals, special beads, copper tools, and paralleled sided long stone blades.
Many of these cities were divided into two or more parts - Citadel and lower town.

Hence, we can conclude that the Harappan cities have not been found in Uttarakhand
