The logic followed here is:

Given number: 9345712.

Odd digits is decreased by - 1

and, Even digits is increased by + 2

After arrange the numbers:

9345712 ⇒ 8264604

Now, The largest digits after rearranging the series: 8

And, The smallest digits after rearranging the series: 0

So, the difference between the largest and smallest digits is: 8 - 0 = 8.

Hence, the correct answer is "Option 2".
