Inductive Method of Teaching Grammar: In this method, grammar is taught by giving examples to the students. Out of the examples, the rules are formulated. This method is called the Inductive method.

• The inductive approach refers to use based, learners centered, and function-based teaching process.
• The inductive approach to grammar teaching is synonymous with the discovery process. Because here the teacher in the classroom exposes the learners to a series of samples of texts relating the target grammar items to be taught; and the learners are made by the teacher, through encouraging teaching strategies, to discover the grammar rules inherent in the given samples.
• Such a process of grammar teaching reveals the creative aspects of language and helps the learners to apply their existing grammatical competence in discovering the rules.
