Given:

Cost Price of 20 apples = Rs. 300

So

Cost price of 15 apples = Rs. 300 × 15/20 = रु. 225

Selling Price of 15 apples = Rs. 300,

Desired Profit = Rs. 300

Concept:

Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price

Solution:

⇒ Profit per apple = (Selling Price of 15 apples - Cost Price of 15 apples)/15

⇒ Profit per apple = (300 - 225)/15 = Rs. 5

⇒ Number of apples = Desired Profit/Profit per apple

⇒ Number of apples = 300/5 = 60

Hence, he should buy and sell 60 apples.
