CTET Telugu Syllabus 2025: Check Paper 1 & Paper 2 Syllabus Here

CTET is a national-level eligibility exam and is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of interested candidates for the post of teacher in Central Government schools. In both CTET Papers, two language sections are asked. Candidates can choose these languages from a list of 20 languages given to them. One of them is Telugu. Candidates who wish to teach Telugu to children from classes 1st to 8th will have to appear for the CTET exam. To teach Telugu to classes 1st to 5th, a candidate must appear for the Paper 1 exam and to teach Telugu to classes 6th to 8th, Paper 2 exam. If a candidate wishes to teach children from class 1st to 8th, then they must appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 to be deemed eligible for it. To ace this exam, it is important for candidates to be familiar with the CTET syllabus of each and every subject that is covered in this exam. By knowing the CTET Telugu Syllabus candidates will be able to cover all the topics without missing out on anything.

Topic Wise Distribution of CTET Telugu Syllabus 2025

Candidates who wish to give the CTET exam with Telugu as their chosen language must be familiar with the CTET Telugu syllabus and its pattern. If candidates choose Telugu for the first language section, then they must go through the CTET Language I Telugu Syllabus. CTET Language 1 Telugu Syllabus 2025

Candidates who want to teach Telugu to students of classes 1st to 5th will have to give the CTET Paper 1 exam. In order to cover all the topics and not miss out on anything candidates must go through the CTET Telugu Language Syllabus. The CTET Paper 1 syllabus and CTET Paper 2 syllabus for the Language I section is the same with differences only in the level of difficulty as paper 2 is to teach classes 6th to 8th. Candidates can decide which classes they wanna teach and choose the paper accordingly with respect to the CTET Eligibility Criteria. They must make sure to carefully select Telugu as their option for any one Language section only. From the language codes, candidates must select 18 for Telugu while filling out the application forms. The table below consists of the CTET Telugu Syllabus as per the generic language criteria for candidates to check out.

CTET Language 2 Telugu Syllabus 2025

If candidates are choosing Telugu in Language II section they must go through the CTET Telugu subject syllabus. CTET Paper 1 Telugu Syllabus and CTET Paper 2 Telugu Syllabus has the same contents but the difficulty level for both is different. The language code for Telugu is 18, so candidates must fill this in the CTET Application Form carefully. CTET Telugu Syllabus for Paper 1 & 2 Weightage

Telugu subject is asked in the CTET exam in the Language section of Paper 1 and 2. Candidates can opt for Telugu in either Language I or Language II section. The CTET Telugu Language Syllabus for both papers is almost the same but they have a difference in their difficulty level. Paper 2 will be slightly more difficult than Paper 1 because of the level of classes each one covers. NOTE: Candidates must remember that they can select Telugu as their language in any one of the language section, i..e, either in Language I or in Language II. If they select Telugu in Language I, they will have to choose from the list of the 20 subjects any one for Language II and vice versa.

CTET Telugu Section Key Points 

To clear the CTET exam candidates must study effectively by covering all the sections of the exam. There are some key points that they should go through so as to prepare with no stone unturned and clear the CTET exam with flying colours. 

  • The CTET exam will be conducted in online Computer Based Test mode for all candidates and both papers.
  • Questions from the CTET Telugu Syllabus will be framed in objective type. 
  • The Language I and Language II sections each consist of 30 marks each. 
  • If candidates opt for Telugu as Language 1 they cannot opt it again for Language 2, they will have to choose any other language from the list given. 
  • To teach classes 1st to 5th, candidates will have to give the Paper 1 exam and to teach classes 6th to 8th, they will have to give the Paper 2 exam.
  • To teach from classes 6th to 8th, candidates will have to give both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the CTET exam.

Candidates who are getting ready for the CTET exam must be feeling all kinds of stress and tension. The time few days before the exam is the most crucial and stressful for candidates. They question their preparation and worry if they have covered everything or not.
