US President Donald Trump on Wednesday did not give a clear indication whether the United States will launch a strike on Iran or not.
While talking to reporters, Trump said, “I may do it, I may not do it, nobody knows what I’m going to do.” He added, “Iran has got a lot of trouble.” “And I told them, why didn’t you talk to me two weeks ago? You could’ve done fine. You would’ve had a country.” he further said.

On being asked about his meeting with Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir, US President Donald Trump said, “I stopped the war. I love Pakistan. I think Modi is a fantastic man. I spoke to him last night. We are going to make a trade deal with PM Modi. I stopped the war between Pakistan and India. This man (Asim Munir) was extremely influential in stopping it from the Pakistani side and PM Modi from the Indian side. Both are nuclear countries; they got to stop. I stopped a war between two major nuclear nations.”

Earlier in the day, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned Israel and said that the “Zionist regime made a grave mistake” and “will face the consequences of its actions”.
The Zionist regime’s malicious attack on our country took place at a time when Iranian officials were indirectly engaged in negotiations with the US side. There was no indication on the part of Iran that signaled a military move.

“Our nation will not forsake the blood of their martyrs, nor will they remain silent in the face of violations of their airspace,” Iran’s First International News Network reported Khamenei’s statement.
Iran “will stand firm against an imposed war, just as it will stand firm against an imposed peace”, the supreme leader said in a televised address reported by the Tasnim news agency.
“This nation will not surrender to anyone in the face of imposition,” he said.
“….And the Americans should know that any US military intervention will undoubtedly be accompanied by irreparable consequences,” he stated.
The US entering in this matter [war] is 100% to its own detriment. The damage it will suffer will be far greater than any harm that Iran may encounter.

He also said that Tehran will harshly retaliate against Israel’s attacks as aerial attacks between the two nations continued overnight, marking the sixth day of the war.
“We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime. We will show the Zionists no mercy,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei wrote in English on X.
