In a bowl, combine the flour, ground almonds, salt, and baking powder.
In another bowl, beat together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually fold in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to over-mix.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle almond slices & plum on top. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool before serving. Serve a slice of almond plum cake, and enjoy the perfect mix of sweet plums and crunchy almonds in every bite.
