In a bowl, combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
In another bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup melted butter, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon mint extract, and 1/2 cup milk until smooth.
Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 18-20 minutes. Set aside and let it cool.
Frost with mint-flavoured buttercream. Optionally, garnish with chocolate chips or chopped mint chocolate. Enjoy!
