It is reported that Shivraj and his father would sell their catches of snakes, after killing them, to earn money. The cobra had been caught by them and Shivraj’s father had asked him to hold the snake in his mouth while he filmed the video.

The social media-shared video shows Shivraj standing on the road, looking right into the camera with folded hands. He then ran his hand over the hair as the snake struggled to break free as the clip furthers.

In the end, Shivraj gives a thumbs-up, and the video has left social media users shocked. Comments like, “People are so careless with their lives.” This shows how hooked young people are for social media even if it means putting their lives in danger just for a bit of instant fame.

Similar Incident Took Place In Telangana

In July, an intoxicated Andhra Pradesh man was hospitalized after teasing a venomous cobra for over an hour. Very drunk, Madhubabu Nagaraju found the snake entering a college in Kadiri and grabbed it. Attempting to flee into nearby bushes, the snake could not.

People present there warned Nagaraju a number of times, but he did not bother and continued playing with the snake. The cobra finally bit him and later was admitted to the hospital.
