In an unbelievable incident, a man allegedly threw gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees at a dustbin in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district.
According to reports, the family secretly hides the gold ornaments in a dustbin to keep them away from the eyes of the thieves before leaving for a holiday.
As always, when a garbage van approached the house in Rewa for door-to-door garbage collection, the son-in-law who arrived before the family dumped the garbage bin in the van. Little did he know that the garbage bin had jewellery. Surprisingly, even after the family returned, nobody discussed the jewellery kept in the bin until the next day.
When the family members came to know that the dustbin was empty, they were shocked and revealed that it was used as a safe. Mishra family kept the gold ornaments in a house dustbin, assuming it was a safe place and thieves never found it.
The safety measures taken by the family went horribly wrong. No jewellery was found till the news was written.
